Hi everyone! 😊I am a Jamaican medical intern living in Argentina. I love meeting new people and I enjoy helping others on their language journey, since I too went through the same process. I consider myself to be reliable and very determined, well able to adapt to any situation. Moving to a foreign country where I did not speak the language is solid proof. Initially very challenging, but not impossible.
Soy pasante de Medicina viviendo en Argentina. Me encanta conocer a nuevas personas y disfruto ayudar a la gente con el aprendizaje. Creo que soy muy determinada y capaz de adaptarme a cualquier situación, el hecho de mudarme a otro pais donde no hablo el idioma es evidencia suficiente.عني كمعلّم
My teaching style would be tailored to fit my students needs . Having been a student myself , I know the different struggles a student may face when learning a new language. Patience is key, it is also extremely important for me to create a friendly , comfortable environment , where students know it is ok to make mistakes .
Mi técnica de enseñanza estará especializada en las necesidades de cada estudiante. Tengo en cuenta los desafíos que estos pueden enfrentar cuando se aprende un nuevo idioma ya que tuve que pasar por el mismo proceso. La paciencia es clave y mi prioridad es que sea un ambiente donde se sientan cómodos y donde sepan que se puede cometer errores en el aprendizaje.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I would use place special emphasis on
*Vocabulary lists, so students can amplify their vocabulary
*Grammar, so that students can have proper tools to speak fluently
*conversation practice to increase fluency
*listening comprehension, where students will get used to listening and understanding
*Pronunciation improvement

*reglas gramáticas para que puedan tener las herramientas para formar frases *conversaciones en el idioma para aumentar fluidez

A few months ago I booked a trial lesson with Tiwanna and it was so exciting and fun I knew I wanted to take more lessons with her, however my schedule did not allow. Yesterday was my first official lesson with Tiwanna and I must say that I am throughly pleased. She is a superb teacher. Her approach to teaching is fun, exciting interactive and non-threatening. She gives you plenty of cues/hints to help you comprehend and retain the information taught in the lesson. I am learning so much about the language and the culture. I cannot wait to schedule more lessons with her. She is truly a beautiful person both inside and out.

Tiwanna is an excellent tutor. She is very energetic and motivating. I’m able to relax and be in a mode of learning without feeling stressed to be perfect. Her style of instructing allows me to realize learning Spanish doesn’t have to feel like a chore or unattainable task.

Tiwanna is upbeat, reliable, and comes prepared with images to discuss. Although out conversations often take on a life of their own, it's really nice that she always has some materials on hand to fall back on. I really love her as a teacher!

Era la primera leccion de Ingles para mi Novia y me dijo que lo encanTO mucho!!! Estaba muy emocionada de explicarme todo lo que aprendió. Que Tiwanna fue muy paciente y explicó muy bien la pronunciación, tambien le dio ideas de como estudiar y esforzar su habilidades. We will definately continue with Tiwanna cada semana.
