A Multi-Lingual friendly and outgoing Tutor from South Africa.

A 2years experience of teaching kindergarten at St Eugene Demazenod day care. 1year experience as a youth program facilitator at St John Bosco youth centre, a 6month experience as an online teacher at Preply and a 6months experience as a grade 7 Mathematics replacement teacher at Immaculata primary school
I love reading books, watching movies and series as well as cooking and baking.
I spent 6years as a missionary living and working with missionaries from all 7 continents, and that makes me an expert when it comes to understanding different accents.عني كمعلّم
I am warm, caring and approachable
I focus on active engagement - Usually students learn better when they are actively participating in class, my job is to facilitate my students learning progress instead of feeding them information.
Building confidence - Regular speaking opportunities in class reduces the students anxiety of speaking a foreign language and boost their confidence.
Discussion - Promotes learning through interaction while students practice their speech and words pronounciation.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My priority is more STT (student talking time). And less TTT (Teacher talking time). I use PPP (Present, Practice, Produce)
PRESENT - The target language to upgrade, grammar, vocabulary,pronunciation & functions.
PRACTICE - Exercises such as fill in the gap, multiple choice or sentence transformation.
PRODUCE - An opportunity to practice the language in a personalised way. eg, role play, writing articles & stories. Some students prefer learning with visuals,audio or discuss
Asking for feedback from students about activities and content of the lesson.
Error correction to increase the students self-awareness
