Hi, there. I’m Tomoko.
I'm Japanese native, and I passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test.
I have taught English at high schools in Japan for a long time, which makes me an experienced educator. Funny teacher, sttudents say
I'm sure that I am an experienced and good at reaching.
My hobbies are playing golf and visiting some Power Spots.
I started playing golf recently.
I enjoy plaing it because I can see my "score" getting better.
As I live in Osaka, near Kyoto and Nara, I often visit temples and shrines there by chance.
The Grand Ise Shrine is also my favorite. I visit it twice a year.
I like traveling, too, especially spots with hot springs.عني كمعلّم
As an experienced educator, I am good at grasping your levels and goals, and can provide you with lessons that fit you.
I also know how to motivate and encourage you.
My lessons will sure be fun and easy to understand.

In my lessons I will teach you effectively using many flashcards, worksheets, and pattern practice. Let's speak as much as possible.
I have two courses ready; 1. the Basic Grammar Course for Beginners and 2. Conversation-based course. In the former, you can learn to speak Japanese the basis. Basically, I will follow the textbook, "Min-nano Nihongo." I have taught some "zero beginners." In the latter, we'll talk on some specific topics each time.
Either way, I will send you "Feedback Sheet" after the lessons, which are highly reviewed by my students, saying "Great! Understandable!", "That makes reviewing the lesson easy."

Tomoko-san was very patient with me even though I was a bit rusty! I appreciate that Tomoko-san takes time to make sure I understand a new word, phrase or concept before moving on to the next topic. Tomoko-san is always prepared for lessons! Tomoko-san always encourages me to do my best.

Tomokoさん helped me with the Causative form and it was a really good experience learning grammar in her style. She was prepared with textbook materials, scenarios, and drills to help me understand the pattern of the conjugation. Tomokoさん made me feel safe when making mistakes and is a very encouraging teacher. I’m happy with the work we did today.

This was my first italki trial lesson so I didn’t know what to expect, but Tomoko led the lesson very professionally. She was able to guide the conversation well and was very encouraging while assessing the language level I’m at. She was very helpful with finding the words I mean to say and explaining different words and grammar points. I’m very happy with how this first lesson turned out.
