Thank you sooooo much! What a wonderful lesson, Dr. Yu. It's like taking a lesson from a friend, not just a teacher. Wow! What a profitable and illuminating time with Dr. Yu - he’s a great listener and he really knows how to ask questions in such a way that prompts me to want to speak longer - and that’s my primary goal! So I’m happy to have had the opportunity to learn with him. He’s also extremely articulate and careful about helping me choose the exact words I need for the given topic. Today he helped me use the word จุดยืน - a word I should have known before now. But I’m glad he steered me in the right direction! Thanks Dr. Yu! :)

Dr Yu is a simply outstanding teacher. He knows how to keep a conversation in Thai, and to explain even some of the most complex terms using the language you already have. He is also knowledgeable about a huge range of topics - we have discussed everything from economics, to the legal system, to LGBT rights, to the upcoming election of the Governor of Bangkok - his vocab spans all of this and more. Also impressive is the material he has; I needed to find ways to convert Thai pdfs into text, and he figured a method out very quickly. I also needed to start learning legal terms in Thai (for my research) and he found a great YouTube channel that does just that. He is also punctual, and willing to let a class run over time to make sure you understand everything. Whether you are a beginner or someone looking to take your Thai to the next level, he is great. Highly recommend!!
