Hello!
Thank you for visiting my Italki page! My name is Calum, I'm from the southwest of the UK and speak with a standard British accent.
I’ve always been passionate about foreign languages, and as a fellow student on Italki, I know how exciting—but also challenging—learning a new language can be. I speak Korean at a B2 level and have recently started learning Mandarin Chinese and Japanese on Italki too.
I like jogging, cooking and playing the guitar :)

As a native English speaker, I bring a relaxed, patient, and supportive approach to teaching. While I don't yet have formal qualifications, I focus on helping my students express themselves in a natural and authentic way.

That was a great lesson 👍 Calum helped me improve my poor language structure, making it correct and proper. He also gave several suggestions on how to further improve my language skills, as well as examples of how to express my thoughts using different vocabulary. It’s so fortunate that you understood everything I said, and that gave me great motivation to keep practicing. The time passed by so quickly 👍
