Hey there,
I'm Qasim, your go-to guy for all things Arabic! As a proud Jordanian, I've dedicated myself to helping others master this beautiful language. With a bachelor's degree in English language and literature from Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, I've explored the world of words and found my passion in poetry. Whether it's political ponderings or love sonnets, I've penned them in both Arabic and English.
Outside of verse, you'll find me engrossed in my hobbies of writing and reading. But my journey doesn't stop there. I'm also doing my doctorate in curricula and methods of teaching English. Currently, I'm sharing my love for Arabic as tutor on Italkiعني كمعلّم
Becoming a teacher is no walk in the park! Along the journey, you're bound to encounter challenges that test your resolve. My choice to pursue teaching stems from a deep-seated passion for education, fueled by a desire to both learn from and connect with people from all corners of the globe. I thrive on building robust friendships as avenues for mutual learning and growth. Moreover, I firmly believe that each person holds the potential to teach something valuable in their own right. In my Arabic language lessons, I foster an interactive learning environment using various methods tailored to individual learning styles. Assessments include oral interviews, written assignments, listening exercises, role-playing, quizzes, and peer/self-assessment. Qasim is a great teacher. I enjoyed my first lesson with him. During my first lesson i learned new words in Levantine dialect. Now i know how to say jayyed in Levantine dialect, kuays and meni7. I also improved my skills in MSA.
