I am a medical doctor taking my postgraduate break, with a lifelong massive passion for languages which involves both learning and teaching: I consider myself a nonstop learner of all aspects of my interests, and I am keen on sharing the knowledge I acquire for the purposes of recreation, benefit, and assistance whenever necessary.
My interests and hobbies extend widely beyond the medical realm, and I am open to different orientations and perspectives adopted by people around the globe. In light of this, it seems it wouldn't be too complex choosing the topics you would like to enhance your language skills through!عني كمعلّم
UPDATE! Due to preoccupation with postgraduate speciality, my schedule from September onwards shall ONLY SLIGHTLY change. I'll always be here, okay? :)
I have a 3-year experience of informally tutoring language enthusiasts, besides a 5-year experience of being a participant, organiser, and moderator of language talk sessions at online and offline events.
The services I offer as of now are as follows:
1) Modern Standard Arabic (A1-C2)
2) Lebanese Arabic dialect (A1-C2)
3) UK English as a foreign language (B1-C2)
4) Medical Arabic and English
Kindly note that my services are unavailable to:
1) Individuals below 18
2) Beginners of Arabic with no fluency in English

Consider me your personal language assistant rather than a traditional teacher; if I were in need of a tutor to help me with my learning journey, I would wish they accept me approaching them the way I prefer, with my own questions, suggestions and preparations, instead of them imposing a curriculum on me that isn't compatible with my prerequisites. I want to provide the same to you, and this extends from grammar to conversations.
I also do have lists of lesson ideas and conversation topics that I can share with you to choose from when you decide to book a lesson with me!

Rawan is a super star teacher, she gives you exactly what you want and what you are looking for to learn. She doesn't have a strict plan that you must follow, she is very flexible and adjusts her class/homework to what YOU want to learn. I prefer to only focus on learning how to speak Levantine Arabic and Rawan was (for the past 2 years) and continue to be so helpful, knowledgeable and supportive.

It is a pleasure to work with Rawan. She is extremely patient during our lessons and ensures that I am comfortable throughout. Rawan has a passion for languages which reflects during the sessions we have together, she puts a lot of effort into the planning of each lesson and I highly recommend her :)

Rawan provides me with lessons that are designed to meet my specific needs. On the one hand, they consist of free conversation, on the other hand, of working on a text from my work context (counseling for refugees in Germany). It helps me to understand the text in Modern Standard Arabic and at the same time to be able to reproduce the content in Levantine colloquial Arabic. This is very helpful for me. Thank you very much!

Another wonderful lesson with Rawan, she is great! She always keeps the lesson going and continues to give insights and vocabulary throughout the lesson. I highly recommend!

This was an excellent class. While I seldom give a five star rating, it is absolutely deserved here. Rawan kept the lesson going at a resonable pace and kept it interesting throughout our time together. Well done and highly recommend.
