Yurika

Yurika is a bubbly and fun teacher. She was able to answer all my question and gave fun examples for the different words and phrases we used. I look forward to having another lesson with her.

I just finished my first lesson with Yurika. I'm very happy I chose her as my first ever Japanese tutor and would be love to do another lesson with her in the future. I definitely recommend her. Here are some observations for those considering paying for a conversation practice: 1. She had many questions prepared for me so there was never any long gaps of silence. 2. Her speech is very easy to understand. She spoke very clearly and not to fast. 3. Whenever I wanted to talk she let me and understood me very well even though I have such broken Japanese. 4. She wasn't rude at all and didn't seem to care when I said something stupid sounding. 5. She was punctual and made sure not to waste any time. Thank you Yurika for the lesson!

After trialing multiple teachers on italki, I have found Yurika to be the most suited for my learning. Her preparedness for each lesson is impressive; she consistently comes with well-organized materials, and we are currently using material from the Genki 1 textbook. One of the standout qualities of Yurika's teaching is the ample opportunity she provides for practicing speaking and listening in Japanese. Her method pushes me to my limits, encouraging me to stretch my abilities and build confidence. At the same time, Yurika is very supportive and can seamlessly switch to English if I struggle, ensuring that I never feel lost or overwhelmed. Overall, Yurika's teaching style is a perfect blend of challenge and support. I highly recommend her to anyone serious about improving their Japanese.
